Day Fifteen

Today I stopped by the office to correct a situation that I had brought upon myself. It was my duty to deliver Erica and Jovan's projects on Monday and somehow in the jumble of everything their papers came up missing. As it would turn out the papers were buried in a folder in a backpack and I had to travel back to Atlanta to correct things with Rah. Fortunately enough Tuesday is her meeting day so she seemed to be a lot more easygoing than when I am in the office bothering her about every minute detail there is on every assignment she gives me. I arrived in the office prepared to beg Rashidah not to punish the people that I was responsible for due to my lack of responsibility, and Rah again did not sweat it at all. She took my apology and told me to file the papers for them. It was nothing. I am just going to go on record and say that Rah is the best Internship coordinator ever, just because of her ability to understand that life happens and that we are all human. She expects greatness but can understand that we all will have pitfalls and I am so appreciative because I know she has been more than generous with me. So, I made the trip to Atlanta out of pocket and went back upset with myself, for having wasted not only my time, but my gas on something that could have been resolved a day ago. Haste makes waste and I cannot afford to waste gas to much more often....
